Project
Overview
Grade 7 students will research problem solving
strategies using curriculum resources, print materials
and the Internet. From their research, they will write a
booklet outlining problem solving strategies for primary
and elementary students. As well, they will include
50-100 problems for students to solve.

Goals
Students will use their knowledge to
research problems and problem solving strategies. This
will be done in a co-operative learning setting. Students
will also use their knowledge of Language Arts to produce
a problem solving booklet. After the booklet is written,
they will have their work used by students in various
classes.
Specifically, the goals are:
