Project 2: Minerals on the Net
As part of the grade eight science program all classes do a unit on geology. As part of that unit students use the Internet to search the Voisey Bay homepage to learn about the minerals, the structure of the land and the exploration development. Students download information about the minerals found on site, detailed maps of the area and the ore deposit.
